Kia ora whānau. Can you believe it…registrations are now closed and GA25 kicks off in just two weeks! We have over 240 ministers, elders and young adults from across Aotearoa coming to gather in Ōtautahi Christchurch and the buzz is building!
Between now and the start of Assembly, we will be sending Assembly Insider updates to make sure you have all the information, reminders, and prayer points you need.

📋 What You Need to Know
- 📅 Commissioners: If you missed our first Zoom session on Wednesday, the recording is available on the GA25 website. Your next Zoom session is this Wednesday 8 October. This one is crucial and a chance to meet everyone and learn who is who.
- 📖 White Book: Your essential guide to GA25. Make sure you have read it; it’s your guide to all things Assembly! This is available for Commissioners to download from the Assembly website; you will have received an email with download instructions. If you have ordered a printed copy, this will be couriered to you later this week. Please note there will be no printed copies available at Assembly.
- 🚗 Bringing your car? You will be given a parking pass for your dashboard at sign-in for parking. If you require mobility parking, please let us know so we can reserve a space for you.
- 📝 Dialogue Groups: There will be 3 dialogue group times at GA25. Each group will be led by a Convenor, and a Clerk will record proceedings. There will be about 18-20 people in each group. Fitting in with the Moderator of the General Assembly theme of ‘We Believe’ – each dialogue group is named after either a statement of faith; ecumenical creed; other confessional statement or a place where an important creed was agreed. Commissioners have a chance to meet their fellow dialogue group members at the Zoom session this Wednesday.

🎉 What’s On?
- Monday night: There will be no business on the first night. Take this opportunity to catch up with new friends you have just met or old friends or colleagues.

🙏 Prayer Points
- Give thanks for everyone registered and for God’s hand in the planning so far.
- Pray for the ongoing preparations behind the scenes.
- Pray for our first time Commissioners, that they receive guidance and have confidence as they navigate their first Assembly experience.
