  • Who can I turn to for help? 
    The Local Arrangements Committee has a great team of volunteers ready to help you. The LAC volunteers can be easily spotted by the hi-viz vests they will be wearing, so please approach them with any questions you may have.

  • When & where is check-in? 
    Check-in is from 11am on Monday 20th October in the carpark of St. Paul’s Church.

  • Can I walk in and register for GA on the day?  
    No, registration must be done online before GA begins.

  • When & where is the mihi whakatau and opening service? 
    The mihi whakatau begins at 1:00pm in the St. Paul’s Church carpark, followed by the opening service. Please gather in the carpark by 12:50pm.

  • Where do I park if I am a daily visitor? 
    Parking is available in the church carpark from Tuesday onwards. Please do not park in the church carpark on Monday 20th to keep the area safe for arrivals and the Powhiri. There is additional parking at 2 Alfred Street. Turn left onto Alfred Street off Fitzgerald Ave (St. Paul’s is on the corner), and follow the street to the end. The carpark will be signposted on the left.

  • Can I buy a White Book at GA? 
    No, there will be no hard copies available. They must be ordered at the time of online registration.

  • Can I book a shuttle from GA back to Christchurch airport on Thursday 23rd October? 
    You must book a shuttle at the time of online registration as there may be no spare seats for casuals.

  • Where can I buy a specialty coffee? 
    There will be a coffee cart in the church carpark on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from approx. 7:30am to 11:30am. Guests buy their own drinks.

  • Where are meals being served? 
    • All meals will be served in the dining hall at St. Paul’s. A packed lunch, morning/afternoon tea, refreshments, and dinner are available to all registered guests. Please note there is no lunch supplied on Monday.
    • On Tuesday night all guests will be treated to a special Pacific Island themed dinner and entertainment.
    • NOTE: Breakfast from 7:00-8:00am is only available for those guests who have pre-purchased.

  • Can I bring alcohol? Can I smoke or vape? 
    St Paul’s policy states that alcohol, smoking and vaping are not permitted in any part of the facility. We ask that you respect this policy.

  • Can I bring my pet? 
    Only registered guide dogs are allowed on campus.

  • What do I do if I’m feeling ill?
    If you become unwell, there is a first aid room available in the St. Paul’s Church building. A trained first aid officer will be onsite throughout Assembly. In the case of a life-threatening emergency, dial 111 for an ambulance. Quote your location as St. Paul’s Trinity Pacific Church, 45 Fitzgerald Ave, Christchurch, and tell them exactly where you are onsite. Be sure to alert an LAC member (wearing a hi-viz vest).

  • I need to visit an A&E Clinic / Dentist. Where do I go? 
    24 Hour Surgery Pegasus Health, 401 Madras Street, phone 03 365 7777.
    Garden City Dental, 237 Bealey Avenue, phone 03 379 6222.

  • Where is the nearest supermarket? 
    Woolworths Moorhouse Ave is a 15 minute walk away or a few minutes drive. Turn left out of the main gates onto Fitzgerald Ave, turn left onto St Asaph Street, left onto Madras Street, walk 300m and Woolworths will be on the right.

  • Where is the nearest petrol station? 
    NPD, 392 Moorhouse Avenue or Mobil on the corner of Tuam and Madras Street.

  • Where is the nearest ATM? 
    BNZ ATM located in Pak’n’Save, 297 Moorhouse Avenue.

  • Where can I charge my device? 
    There is a charging station for multiple devices in the dining hall. Please bring your own charger.

  • How can I honour the GA’s commitments to Caring for Creation, including its partnership with Eco Church?
    PCANZ is encouraging everyone to think of the environment when travelling to and from, and attending Assembly. Please see our page on Reducing Carbon Emmissions for ways we are doing our part and how you can help.

  • Where will lost property be held? 
    At the help/info desk in the foyer of St. Paul’s.
